President Draupadi Murmu will inaugurate the Lok Manthan-2024 seminar of nationalist thinkers on November 22. Former Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohan Bhagwat and many other prominent intellectuals and artists will participate in this program to be held from 21 to 24 November in Hyderabad.

The seminar is being organized under the aegis of Pragya Pravah, an organization of nationalist intellectuals and educationists. According to J. Nandkumar, National Convenor of Pragya Pravah, the President will inaugurate this program on November 22. Exhibitions and cultural programs for Lok Manthan will start from November 21.

This biennial event started in 2016 and Lok Manthan was also organized in Bhopal, Ranchi and Guwahati earlier. Meanwhile, Telangana Chief Secretary Shanti Kumari reviewed the preparations for the President’s proposed two-day visit on November 21 and 22 by holding a meeting with senior officials at the Secretariat on Thursday.

The Chief Secretary directed the officials to make arrangements as per the manual to organize the program properly and successfully. State Director General of Police Jitendra, Special Chief Home Secretary Ravi Gupta, DG Fire Services Nagireddy, Principal Secretary B. Venkatesham, Director Protocol Venkat Rao and other officials were present in the review meeting.

Pragya Pravah is an organization associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh which works to promote a deep understanding and appreciation of the cultural and intellectual heritage of the country. At present, it is one of the leading organizations of the Sangh and works as its intellectual wing.
