A completely different Maha Yagya is going to be held in Ram’s city. Firstly, it will continue for one and a half months (18 November to 01 January). Ram Yantra will be present in the Yagya, its association is from the time of King Dasharath. 1200 Vedic priests gathered from all over the country will complete it with complete rituals.
The decorated chariot carrying Shri Ram Yantra will reach Ayodhya. It will go to Guptar Ghat and Makhbhoomi (present name-Makhoda) where Putrayeshti Yagya was held. Shri Ram Yantra Rath Yatra reached the temple of Lord Shri Ram’s Kul Devi Badi Devkali (according to belief, the incarnation of Maa Kamakshi) late in the evening.
D.S.N. Murthy, the main coordinator of this Maha Yagya starting from Monday in Karsevak Puram, said that according to Vedic texts, Rishi Durvasa had established Shri Ram Yantra in the south. Worried about not having a son, King Dasharatha went to Kanchi to worship Shri Ram Yantra on the advice of scholars. It was after this that he performed Putrayeshti Yagna.
According to Shri Murthi, this is mentioned in Markandeya Purana. Shri Murthi says that last August, Goddess Maa inspired Suresh Shastri, the chief priest of the temple, while sleeping at night to perform a Maha Yagna and establish Shri Ram Yantra in Ayodhya. Work in this direction was started from then itself.
A large place was needed for one and a half months. Arrangements had to be made for food and lodging for a lot of people in the winter. So, after Shri Murthi discussed with Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra General Secretary Champat Rai, it was agreed to organize the event in Karsevak Puram. Shri Murthi said that the Maha Yagna performed in the name of the above-mentioned deities is spiritually beneficial for the entire world.
According to the coordinator, the 150 kg gold plated Shri Ram Yantra has been prepared on the basis of the ancient yantra installed in the headquarters of Shri Kanchipuram Math. It is being brought from Tirupati to Ayodhya through a grand Rath Yatra, covering two thousand kilometers.
The 70th Shankaracharya of Kanchi Kamakoti Peetha Shri Shankar Vijayendra Saraswati inaugurated the Shri Ram Yantra Rath Yatra from the holy place of Lord Venkateswara Tirupati. The Sarsanghchalak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh also reached the Yatra in Nagpur. According to the media reports, Dr. Bhagwat has also talked about coming to Ayodhya. The Rath Yatra has reached Ayodhya after passing through five states. All the preparations related to the event have been completed in Karsevakpuram.
