Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit India soon, according to the media reports. This comes days following Prime Minister Narendra Modi invited Putin to visit India next year for the 23rd India-Russia Annual Summit.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi was warmly welcomed by Russian President Vladimir Putin in Kazan. Putin said Russia-India ties ‘do not require translation’ and thanked PM Modi for visiting the city for the summit. According to the media reports, the meeting lasted for more than two hours.
PM Modi also said that India remains ready to help in early restoration of peace in Ukraine. The war in Ukraine, which started in February 2022, is inching towards its third year.
