After the big political showdown over the temple prasadam, the newly constituted Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board has introduced a series of significant decisions to uphold the sanctity and religious character of the Tirumala temple, considered the world’s richest Hindu shrine. In its first meeting on November 18, 2024, the board, chaired by BR Naidu, resolved to request the Andhra Pradesh government to remove non-Hindu employees from temple administration roles.
