A big step has been taken by the Madhya Pradesh government to develop the places associated with Lord Shri Krishna. The cabinet of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has selected the Shri Krishna Pathey Trust to do this construction work.
This step has been taken by the state government under the Public Trust Act 1951. While approving this trust, the state cabinet has clarified that all the places where Lord Shri Krishna’s feet had fallen, will be developed, renovated and preserved.
Its development will be promoted not only in India but also abroad through paintings, recording filming and cinematography related to Shri Krishna. At the same time, the historic Maharishi Sandipan Ashram in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh will also be developed during this period.
Sandipan Ashram is the place where Shri Krishna, Balram and their friend Sudama received education together. This trust will promote the development of education, culture, agriculture, cattle livestock along with giving protection to it. This trust will be chaired by CM Mohan Yadav himself.
This trust will have a total of 28 members and 23 ex-officio members and 5 scholars will be declared its trustees. The tenure of non-official members will be 3 years and CM Mohan Yadav himself will be its member. The headquarters of Shri Krishna Pathey Trust will be in Bhopal, the capital of Madhya Pradesh as it will work from there. The objective of this trust is to make the youth of Madhya Pradesh aware of the life of Shri Krishna while staying in Madhya Pradesh and it will also be connected to the youth.
