Violence Erupts in Sambhal: Survey at Jama Masjid Sparks Clashes, Police Injured, 5 Dead

A violent incident in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal on Sunday, has raised serious concerns. On Sunday at 7 AM, a survey team arrived at the Jama Masjid, unaware of the chaos that would unfold within the next couple of hours. Despite heavy police deployment, the situation spiraled out of control as violence erupted. Rioters attacked the police team with a barrage of stones, reportedly stockpiled on rooftops. Disturbingly, there are claims that the rioters were also armed with crude firearms, which were allegedly used during the clash.
