On the 260th day of operating the Bungalow, the restaurant won the Michelin 2024 Bib Gourmand Award. Holding the Indian flag with pride and honour, Chef Vikas shared the news with the world. This remarkable acknowledgement and victory felt different to the chef even after winning Michelin Star 8 times previously. Expressing his happiness, he shared, “I felt that it was for some higher purpose. It was like a tribute. The award was like a promise to my land, my people. To my sister.”
His all-new Bungalow opened its doors to guests and food connoisseurs in March 2024. New York is already crowded with the best names and globally renowned restaurants. The chef and his excellent team have established Bungalow’s name in this busy city densely lined with restaurants serving cuisine from different parts of the world.
