Anakapplli(Andhra Pradesh)/ Delhi, 23 December (H.S.): Two persons at a private pharma company in Jawaharlal Nehru Pharma City were hospitalized after inhaling a toxic gas on Monday morning.
According to the district superintendent of police Tuhin Sinha, the incident occurred during a chemical reaction in the production block of the company at Parawada. The two helpers who were affected by the gas were immediately taken to the hospital, with one of them being in critical condition. The other person is currently out of danger and both are undergoing treatment in Visakhapatnam.
The police official stated that the suspected cause of the incident was due to inhaling the toxic gases. Further investigations will be conducted to determine the exact cause and necessary actions will be taken to prevent similar incidents in the future.
