New Delhi, 25 December (HS): A group of 70 Indian Hindu pilgrims returned home on Wednesday after offering prayers at Katas Raj temple located in Punjab province of Pakistan. Pakistani officials bid farewell to the pilgrims by presenting special gifts and bouquets at the Wagah border.
During their seven-day visit to Pakistan, the Hindu pilgrims, along with completing religious rituals at Katas Raj temple, also visited the Krishna temple on Ravi Road in Lahore and the Valmiki temple in Anarkali. Apart from offering prayers, Indian citizens also visited the Anarkali market along with the Lahore fort.
After the darshan, while returning home, Additional Secretary (Teerthsthan) of Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) Saifullah Khokhar presented bouquets and gifts to the pilgrims while bidding them farewell at the Wagah border. He said that this tour program of yours will improve the situation between the two countries.
