The Urs of Khwaja Garib Nawaz lasts for six days. 813 years ago, on the first date of Rajab, Khwaja sahab went to his room for prayers and instructed his disciples not to call him during prayers. When he did not come out for six days, his disciples opened his room and saw that Khwaja sahab had passed away. This is the reason why there is a tradition of celebrating the Urs of Khwaja sahab for six days. The Jannati Darwaza was closed. The Jannati Darwaza, which opens four times a year in Khwaja sahab’s dargah, was closed for the pilgrims as soon as the ritual of Chhathi started.
