PM Modi Congratulates Start Of Maha Kumbh-2025 In Prayagraj

New Delhi, January 13 (HS): Maha Kumbh has started in Teerthraj Prayagraj. A flood of faith has surged today to take a dip at Sangam in Prayagraj. Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote on his X handle on this auspicious occasion, “A very special day for crores of people who value Indian values and culture!”

He has written, “Mahakumbh-2025 started in Prayagraj, bringing together countless people in the holy confluence of faith, devotion and culture. Maha Kumbh is a symbol of India’s eternal spiritual heritage and celebrates faith and harmony.” It is noteworthy that Maha Kumbh has started today from Paush Purnima. It has been told that till eight in the morning, about 40 lakh devotees have taken a dip of faith. This figure can reach one crore. The bathing ghat built in the 12 km area is full of devotees. Two lakh people are bathing every hour at the Sangam point. From today, devotees will start the 45-day Kalpavas.
