New Delhi, January 21 (HS): As per its promise, the Bharatiya Janata Party today released Sankalp Patra Part-2 for the Delhi Assembly elections. It promises free education from KG to PG to needy students. Along with this, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 has also been announced for the youth to prepare for competitive exams. Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Anurag Thakur released this Sankalp Patra.
Anurag Thakur said in a program organized at the party’s state headquarters that this Sankalp Patra will lead to the development of Delhi. He said that if the party forms the government, financial assistance of Rs 15,000 will be provided to the youth of Delhi for preparing for competitive exams and will also reimburse two-time travel and application fees. BR Ambedkar Stipend Scheme will be started for technical and professional courses in Delhi. Under this, Scheduled Caste students studying in ITI, Skill Center etc. will get a stipend of Rs 1000 per month.
Anurag Thakur said that auto taxi drivers will form a welfare board. Under this, they will be given insurance up to 10 lakhs, accident insurance up to 5 lakhs, scholarship for higher education to their children. He said that Domestic Workers Welfare Board will be formed for domestic workers. Under this, provision will be made for life insurance up to 10 lakhs, accident insurance up to 5 lakhs.
Senior BJP leader Thakur said that in the last ten years BJP has eliminated middlemen. He accused the Aam Aadmi Party government of waiving crores of rupees of liquor mafia during Kovid in Delhi. Why was the CAG report not presented in the Assembly.
BJP National President JP Nadda released the party’s first Sankalp Patra for the Delhi elections on Friday. During this time he had announced that two more resolutions will be issued.
