New Delhi, January 22 (HS): Bharat Scouts and Guides Chief National Commissioner Dr. Krishna Kumar Khandelwal has invited President Droupadi Murmu as the chief guest for the Bharat Scouts and Guides Diamond Jubilee Jamboree, which will take place from January 28 to February 3 at SIPCOT Industrial Park in Manapparai, Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu.
The event, which will celebrate 75 years of Bharat Scouts and Guides, will bring together around 20,000 Scouts and Guides from India and a thousand international participants from the Asia-Pacific region and other countries.
The event will focus on youth empowerment, cultural exchange, and leadership development, reflecting the spirit of Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. The event will feature 875 Scouts and Guides from Haryana, and the Bharat Scouts and Guides have requested the President to inaugurate the Jamboree on January 28 or attend the closing ceremony on February 2. Dr. Khandelwal presented his latest book, Organizing Scouts and Guides Jamboree, to the President.
