Arms And Explosives Recovered During Search Operation In Imphal East

Imphal, 25 January (HS): Security forces conducted search and area domination operations in Awang Potsangbam hill under Heingang PS, Imphal East District. A significant cache of arms and explosives was recovered during the operation.

Recovered items include one SLR rifle without magazine, one SMG carbine without magazine, one .32 pistol (marked as Made in USA) with magazine, two country-made 51mm mortars, two .32 live ammunition, one No. 36 hand grenade (without detonator), one Grenade No. 80 Mark-1, one smoke shell (50m), and one wireless radio set (Baofeng).
