Delhi, 29 January (H.S.) : Raisina Hills will witness the historic Beating Retreat this evening. During this, the 76th Republic Day celebrations will conclude with the setting sun. President Draupadi Murmu, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, other Union Ministers, senior officials and distinguished spectators will be present in this ceremony to be held in a royal background.
In this ceremony organized on Vijay Path, the bands of the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) will play 30 Indian tunes. The ceremony will begin with the tune of the mass band ‘Kadam Kadam Badhaye Ja’. After this, beautiful tunes like ‘Amar Bharti’, ‘Indradhanush’, ‘Jai Janmabhoomi’, ‘Nati in Himalayan Valley’, ‘Ganga Jamuna’ will be played. The Pipes and Drums Band ‘Veer Siachen’ and the CAPF Band will play tunes like ‘Vijay Bharat’, ‘Rajasthan Troops’, ‘Ae Watan Tere Liye’ and ‘Bharat Ke Jawan’. The Air Force Band will play tunes like ‘Galaxy Rider’, ‘Stride’, ‘Rubaroo’ and ‘Millennium Flight Fantasy’. The Navy Band will play tunes like ‘Rashtriya Pratham’, ‘Nishkarsh Nispad’, ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’, ‘Spread the Light of Freedom’, ‘Rhythm of the Reef’ and ‘Jai Bharati’. After this, the Indian Army Band will play tunes like ‘Veer Sapoot’, ‘Taaqat Watan’, ‘Mera Yuva Bharat’, ‘Dhruv’ and ‘Faulad Ka Jigar’.
After this, the mass bands will play songs like ‘Priyam Bharatam’, ‘Ae Mere Watan Ke Logon’ and ‘Drummers Call’. The event will conclude with the evergreen popular song ‘Saare Jahan Se Achcha’ by the Buglers. The chief conductor of the ceremony will be Commander Manoj Sebastian. The Army Band will be conducted by Subedar Major (Honorary Captain) Bishan Bahadur, while the Navy Band will perform under the leadership of M Antony, MCPO MUS II. Similarly, Warrant Officer Ashok Kumar will conduct the Air Force Band. The CAPF Band will be conducted by Head Constable GD Mahajan Kailash Madhav Rao. The Pipes and Drums Band will play under the direction of Subedar Major Abhilash Singh, while the buglers will perform under the leadership of Naib Subedar Bhupal Singh.
