Delhi, 29 January (H.S.) : President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday expressed condolences on the Prayagraj Mahakumbh accident and wished for the speedy recovery of the injured. The Prime Minister has spoken to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in this regard. He said that all necessary steps are being taken to help the people affected by this tragedy.
President Murmu posted on x, “The stampede incident in Prayagraj Mahakumbh is extremely sad. I express my condolences to the families of the deceased devotees and pray to God that all the injured devotees recover soon.”
Prime Minister Modi posted on x, “The accident in Prayagraj Mahakumbh is extremely sad. My deepest condolences to the devotees who have lost their family members in this. Along with this, I wish for the speedy recovery of all the injured. The local administration is engaged in helping the victims in every possible way. In this regard, I have spoken to Chief Minister Yogi ji and I am constantly in touch with the state government.”
