Nine Naxalites Carrying Reward Of Rs 52 Lakh Surrendered In Chhattisgarh’s Sukma

Sukma, January 30 (HS): Nine hardcore Naxalites including two Naxal couple active in PLGA Battalion No. 01 in the Naxalite organization active in Chhattisgarh’s Sukma district surrendered on Thursday. The Chhattisgarh government has announced a reward of Rs 52 lakh on the surrendered Naxalites. A reward of Rs 52 lakh has been announced for two surrendered male and four female Naxalites, Rs 8 lakh each on one female, Rs 1 lakh each on two female Naxalites, totaling Rs 52 lakh.

SP Kiran Chavan said that influenced by the Chhattisgarh government’s “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication Rehabilitation Policy” and the “Niyad Nella Nar” scheme being run by Sukma Police and the increasing influence of the police due to the continuous establishment of camps in highly sensitive interior areas, a total of nine Naxalites including two Naxalite couples have surrendered in the Naxalite organization.

Surrendered Naxalites 30-year-old Kalmu Mangadu (Deputy Commander of PLGA Battalion Number Company Number 02 Section “A”, PPCM, reward eight lakhs) resident of Morp Zonnapara Police Station Chintalnar District Sukma, 25-year-old woman Madvi wife of Kalmu Mangadu (South Bastar Battalion Number 01 Com. Number 02 (B) Section Party Member, reward eight lakhs) resident of Doramangu Police Station Konta District Sukma, 22-year-old Sameer alias Medium Sukka (PLGA Battalion Number 01 Head Quarter (Company Number 03) Communication: Commander/PPCM, reward eight lakhs) resident of Tadmetla Gondepara Police Station Chintagufa District Sukma, 20-year-old woman Rajni alias Raje alias Beede Madvi wife of Sameer alias Medium Sukka (Battalion Head Quarter PLA Section “A” member, reward eight lakhs) caste Muria resident of Kongodipara Badesatti Police Station Phulbagdi District Sukma, 18 year old woman Shanti Kawasi (party member of Battalion no. 01, company no. 02, section “B”, reward of eight rupees, resident of Madpeduled police station Chintagufa district Sukma, 25 year old woman Madkam Somdi (PPCM of platoon no. 08, reward of eight lakhs) 25 years resident of Madpeduled police station Chintagufa district Sukma, 22 year old woman Nuppo Narsi (Pamed LOS party member, reward of one lakh) Madpeduled police station Chintagufa district Sukma, 21 year old woman Madkam Hidme (South Bastar Division Agriculture Team member, reward of one lakh) Madpeduled police station Chintagufa district Sukma, 50 year old woman Nuppo Hungi (Surpanguda RPC KAMS President, reward of one lakh) resident of Surpanguda police station Chintalnar district Sukma, with the aim of leaving the Naxal organization and joining the mainstream of the society, today the police Surrender without arms was done in the Superintendent Office, District Sukma in front of Kiran Chavan, Superintendent of Police District Sukma, Anami Sharan Second Command Officer 02nd Battalion CRPF, ASP Abhishek Verma, ASP Abhishek Maheshwari, SDOP Parmeshwar Tilakwar.

DRG Team Sukma in encouraging Naxal Mangdu, Madvi Budhari to surrender, Naxal Cell Information Branch in encouraging Naxal Sameer alias Medium Sukka Ranjani alias Raje to surrender, 2nd Battalion CRPF Information Branch in encouraging Naxal Shanti Kawasi, Madkam Somdi, Nuppo Narsi, Madkam Hidme to surrender and 204 Battalion Cobra Information Branch personnel in encouraging Naxalite Nuppo Hungi to surrender made special efforts. All surrendered Naxalites will be provided assistance under the “Chhattisgarh Naxalism Eradication and Rehabilitation Policy” along with incentives of Rs. 25,000 each.
