Jaishankar Will Give Statement At 2pm At RS And 3pm At LS, On Indians Coming From US

NEW DELHI, 6 February (H.S.): The proceedings of the Lok Sabha at 11am, on uproar of opposition it was adjourned till 12 noon. LS started once again at 12 noon, but amid opposition’s uproar it was adjourned till 2 o’clock. EAM met PM in his chamber in Parliament.

The External Affairs Minister, S Jaishankar will give a statement in the Rajya Sabha today at 2 pm. Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar informed the House that S. Jaishankar will give a statement on the issue of deportation of Indians from America. Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju also said that EAM will give a statement at 2 pm. Chairman Dhankhar said that he would allow the MPs to intervene for some time.

After Rajya Sabha, EAM Jaishankar will give Statement at Lok Sabha at 3 PM on the same issue.
