A historic judgment has been delivered in one of the darkest chapters of independent India. Former Congress MP Sajjan Kumar has been convicted by Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court for his role in the brutal killings of a Sikh father-son duo during the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. This is yet another major setback for the Congress leader, who is already serving a life sentence in another case related to the riots. But the bigger question remains, will the Congress finally be held accountable for its orchestrated involvement in the massacre of thousands of innocent Sikhs?
