Guwahati, 13 February (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma expressed his deep feelings towards radio on World Radio Day. He said, “We have many memories stored in radio. It gave us the knowledge of time.”
The Chief Minister greeted all those directly and indirectly associated with radio on this special occasion. He said, “From Birendra Krishna Bhadra’s Chandi Paath to Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’, from cricket commentary to important updates—radio has given us everything. Let us celebrate this World Radio Day 2025 with enthusiasm!”
