Delhi, 15 February (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned home after completing his important visit to France and America. His plane landed at Delhi’s Palam Airport on Friday night, where he greeted the officials. During this visit, Prime Minister Modi met French President Emmanuel Macron and US President Donald Trump and discussed various bilateral and global issues.
Prime Minister Modi co-chaired the Artificial Intelligence Action Summit with President Emmanuel Macron in France. After this, the two leaders discussed trade, investment and cooperation in the Indo-Pacific region. Addressing the 14th India-France CEO Forum, PM Modi emphasized on the opportunities for French companies to invest in India. He also visited the Marseille region of southern France and paid tribute to freedom fighter Veer Savarkar.
At the same time, during his visit to America, Prime Minister Modi met President Donald Trump. The two leaders discussed in detail important topics like trade, defense, energy and technology. This meeting took place for the first time after the start of President Trump’s second term. In this meeting held at the White House, India and America agreed to further strengthen the strategic partnership.
This visit of Prime Minister Modi proved to be an important step towards giving new dimensions to global cooperation and strengthening India’s diplomatic position.
