Bhopal/Delhi, February 24(H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with the BJP MLAs, MPs and top functionaries of his party from Madhya Pradesh over dinner on Sunday. The meeting commenced around 6 pm at Kushabhau Thakre Auditorium in Bhopal.
PM Modi’s discussion with them lasted for 3 hours. During this, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav were also present.
Narendra Modi paid tributes to the statue of revered Shri Kushabhau Thackeray in Bhopal today. He posted on X and said,”I paid my respects to the statue of revered Kushabhau Thackeray ji in Bhopal. His life has been inspiring BJP workers across the country. His contribution in public life will also always be remembered.”
In the second post, PM Modi said, “I got a good opportunity to discuss with the BJP MPs and MLAs of Madhya Pradesh. During this, there was a discussion about their dedication and service towards the people. Very meaningful discussions have been held with them about how to ensure that maximum benefits of our schemes reach them.”
PM Modi will inaugurate the Global Investor Summit (GIS) at Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya in Bhopal at 10 am today on February 24.
PM Modi stayed overnight at Raj Bhavan in Bhopal. Due to this, security arrangements have been strengthened in Bhopal and the Museum.
Representatives from more than 60 countries, officials of various international organizations, more than 300 prominent industry leaders and policy makers of India will participate in this summit.
A three-layer security arrangement has been made for VVIPs around the museum for the summit. SPG commandos will be present in the first layer, IPS in the second layer and police personnel deployed for security in the third layer. More than 5 thousand police personnel including 25 IPS will handle the security arrangements.
