The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Friday condemned the security breach during External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar’s UK visit, calling it a sign of “license accorded to such forces” and “indifference” to their intimidation and threats against India’s diplomatic activities.
The incident involved a pro-Khalistan protestor attempting to block Jaishankar’s convoy outside Chatham House in London. MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India had conveyed its “deep concern” to UK authorities and emphasized the “larger context” of the incident.
