Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has once again put his party in a difficult position by making a shocking claim that 30-40 Congress leaders in Gujarat are secretly working for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). Instead of strengthening his party, his statement has exposed Congress’s deep internal conflicts and lack of unity. By admitting that so many of his own leaders are not loyal, Rahul Gandhi has proven that Congress is collapsing from within.
Congress’s internal troubles are not new, and senior leaders have often added to the party’s crisis. Mani Shankar Aiyar, known for his controversial remarks, has repeatedly exposed Congress with his statements that have harmed the party’s reality. His past comments, including insulting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, have only pushed voters further away from Congress. When senior leaders like Aiyar continue to make such remarks, and now Rahul Gandhi himself admits internal sabotage, it is clear that Congress is falling apart due to its own doings.
Rahul Gandhi’s statement, made during his visit to Gujarat, was meant to be a warning to party members. However, it actually showed that Congress lacked strong leadership and discipline. If such a large number of Congress leaders are allegedly working for the BJP, then it raises serious questions about why they are dissatisfied with their own party. Instead of taking responsibility for Congress’s failures, Rahul Gandhi is blaming his own party members.
The indefatigable Rahul Gandhi is back—this time accusing his own colleagues of being BJP agents! How does he expect to be accepted as a leader within Congress if this is the level of mistrust he harbors? Clearly, the suggestion from the Congress delegation from MP didn’t land as… pic.twitter.com/mjNd8hWnkE

A History of Losing in Gujarat
Congress has not won in Gujarat for over 30 years, and Rahul Gandhi’s speech confirmed that the party is still not ready to make a comeback. In the 2022 Gujarat Assembly elections, Congress managed to win only 17 out of 182 seats. Now, with resignations and defections, the number has fallen to just 12. This situation is not due to BJP’s influence but because Congress has failed to inspire its own workers and voters. If Congress leaders are shifting towards BJP, it is clear that they see no future in their own party.

Rahul Gandhi’s claim also exposes a bigger problem, Congress lacks a strong leader who can keep the party united. If senior Congress members are truly working with the BJP, it means they do not trust their own leadership. Gandhi’s speech indirectly admitted that the Congress leadership has failed to connect with its own people. Instead of finding solutions, Rahul Gandhi is looking for scapegoats.
BJP’s Response: Rahul Gandhi is BJP’s Biggest Asset
Rahul Gandhi’s remarks have given the BJP another reason to expose Congress. BJP leaders quickly pointed out that Gandhi himself has “trolled” his own party by exposing its weaknesses. BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla even called Rahul Gandhi the “biggest asset” of the BJP because of his constant failures in elections. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said that party workers have no faith in Rahul Gandhi’s leadership. If Congress leaders are leaving, it is not because of BJP, but because they do not believe Rahul Gandhi can lead them to victory.
Instead of blaming BJP, Rahul Gandhi should look at his own party’s failures. Congress has become weak due to its own poor leadership, lack of vision, and internal conflicts. This latest admission by Rahul Gandhi only proves that Congress is not united and is struggling to survive. The biggest enemy of Congress is no longer the BJP, it is Congress itself.
