In a latest update, the Uttarakhand government removed 95 encroachments at the Kalagarh area in Uttarakhand’s Pauri district as part of its ongoing campaign of reclaiming government land from illegal land occupiers.
According to officials, the government has been taking strict action against illegal encroachments in order to preserve the state’s culture, its tradition and demographic balance.
Giving his government’s strong stance on preserving Uttarakhand’s culture and heritage, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made it clear that any kind of tampering with the culture, traditions, and original form of the state will not be tolerated. Strict action will be taken against anyone who will try to affect the demography of the state or illegally occupies government land, he added.
