A large-scale anti-terror operation has been started in the dense Seojdhar forests along the Doda-Udhampur border following intelligence inputs about the movement of three to four Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorists in the area.
The joint operation, launched by the Doda and Udhampur Police with the assistance of the Indian Army and CRPF, started last evening.
Security forces have intensified search operations in the terrain to track down the suspected terrorists moving in the area.
Senior officials from the Indian Army, Jammu and Kashmir Police (JKP), and CRPF are closely monitoring the developments. This location has past incidents of terror activity and security forces are maintaining a high alert.
