For India’s space program, the Indian Space Research Organisation ( ISRO ) has successfully completed the de-docking of its SPADEX (Space and Planetary Exploration Device for Experiments) satellites.
“Spadex Undocking Successful!” ISRO wrote in a post on X.

. Capture Lever 3 released as planned
• Capture Lever in SDX-2 disengaged
. Decapture command issued in SDX-1 & SDX-2
Dr. Jitendra Singh, Union Minister of State for Science and Technology also expressed his pride in ISRO’s achievement calling it a significant step toward India’s future space ambitions.
In a post on social media platform X, Singh expressed congratulations to the ISRO team, calling the feat ‘unbelievable’ and ‘heartening for every Indian’.
Singh said, “SPADEX Satellites accomplished the unbelievable De-Docking… This paves the way for smooth conduct of ambitious future missions, including the Bharatiya Antriksha Station, Chandrayaan 4, and Gaganyaan. PM Narendra Modi ’s continuous patronage keeps the spirits soaring”.
