The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will hold its annual Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) from March 21 to 23, 2025, at the Janseva Vidya Kendra in Channenahalli, Bengaluru.
This meeting serves as the highest decision-making body of the RSS and convenes representatives from across the country to discuss and set the organization’s direction for the upcoming year.
Here are the key points about the 2025 ABPS:
Annual Review: The ABPS will review the activities and programs conducted by the RSS throughout the 2024-2025 period. This will include discussions on the regional reports, evaluations of various initiatives, and planning for future growth.
Centenary Celebrations: A major focus will be on planning for the 100th anniversary of the RSS, which will be celebrated on Vijayadashami (Dussehra) in 2025. The ABPS will discuss various events, campaigns, and programs that will mark this landmark occasion.
Resolutions:
. Atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh: One of the key resolutions expected at the ABPS will address the ongoing atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh and lay out future actions to support the affected communities.
. Contribution to National Integrity: Another resolution will reflect on the contributions of the RSS to India’s national integrity and the roadmap for the organization’s growth and role in shaping the future.
Special Lecture on Rani Abakka: The ABPS will feature a special lecture commemorating the 500th birth anniversary of Rani Abakka, a prominent historical figure who fought against Portuguese colonial forces. The lecture will highlight her bravery and contributions to the nation.
Attendance and Representation: Around 1,500 RSS functionaries from across the country will attend, including national and regional leaders, as well as representatives from RSS-affiliated organizations like the Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, Rashtra Sevika Samiti, and Vishwa Hindu Parishad.
Some of the top leaders expected at the event include Dr. Mohan Bhagwat (Sarsanghchalak), Dattatreya Hosabale (Sarkaryavah), and various other prominent figures.
