On Tuesday, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has tabled the Budget 2025-26 of Rs 1 lakh crore, for the national capital. Gupta has said that this is the “highest and most historic budget till date”. The Delhi Budget is BJP ‘s first budget in the national capital in 26 years.
The Delhi Chief Minister has presented the Bhartiya Janata Party’s first budget in 26 years. While tabling the budget, the Delhi CM said, “This time a historic budget of Rs 1 lakh crore is being tabled, which 31.5 % more than the last budget. This is an unprecedented and historic budget.”

This year’s budget is 31.5 % more than last year’s budget, with allocations for ten key focus areas including women safety, roads, electricity, water and infrastructure development.
