A 5.0 magnitude earthquake hit Nepal on Friday, with tremors felt across Delhi-NCR and other parts of Northern India, according to the National Centre of Seismology. The epicenter of the earthquake was located 3 kilometers from Gharkhakot in Nepal, and it occurred 20 kilometers below the Earth’s surface.
There are no immediate reports of damage or injuries. This earthquake comes just days after a powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Myanmar on March 28, which killed over 3,000 people, injured 4,500, and left 341 people still missing.
The earthquake was also felt in neighboring countries like China, Thailand, and Vietnam, as well as other parts of India.
