However, in recent years, in West Bengal, there have been reports of violence and clashes during the celebrations. On Sunday, the BJP (Bharatiya Janata Party) claimed that Hindu devotees taking part in a Ram Navami procession in Kolkata were attacked, and their vehicles were damaged.
The BJP blamed the ruling Trinamool Congress party and Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for the incident, saying it was an act of targeted violence against Hindus. The communal violence is taking place in Mamata Banerjee government. West Bengal CM supports Muslims and work for its welfare to get the vote bank while doesn’t support Hinduism and Hindu festivals.
