In a heartwarming display of devotion and unity, Jabalpur’s Pachmatha Mandir has celebrated Hanuman Janmotsav with unmatched grandeur and spiritual fervour. Marking the silver jubilee of the celebration, the Hanuman Mandir Seva Samiti and Mahila Mandal have gone above and beyond—offering a majestic Maha Thali with 56 traditional dishes from across Bharat and a staggering 5,000 kg laddu as prasad.
This divine celebration is not just about scale—it’s about spirit. The specially curated thali is a beautiful tribute to “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat”, embodying the essence of unity in diversity. From the dry fruits of Kashmir to Gujarat’s iconic fafda-jalebi and dhokla, from UP’s layiya to Banaras’s beloved paan, lassi, and bel sharbat—and even Bihar’s soulful litti-chokha—each item reflects a corner of India and has been lovingly prepared by devotees.
Jagadguru Raghav Devacharya, speaking to ANI, beautifully summed up the spiritual resonance of the festival: “It’s Hanuman ji’s strength that reminds us who we are. Just like he found his purpose by walking with Bhagwan Ram, we too can understand and express our Hindu identity by staying connected to his spirit.”
Shraddha, one of the dedicated devotees who helped in the preparation, said, “Every dish in the thali has been made with love. It’s our way of offering the whole of India to Hanuman ji.” Her words echo the deep bhakti and joy that runs through every detail of the celebration.
Observed on Chaitra Poornima, Hanuman Janmotsav marks the birth of Bhagwan Hanuman—an embodiment of strength, selfless service, and devotion. Across the world, devotees fast, chant Hanuman Mantras, and offer puja to connect with the divine energy of Bajrangbali.
