- High-precision weapons used to avoid civilian or military casualties.
In a major operation against terrorism, India carried out overnight aerial strikes and destroyed nine terror camps located in Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). These camps were being used by deadly terror groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammad, and Hizbul Mujahideen to plan and carry out attacks in India.
The strikes were carried out with high-tech weapons and specially selected warheads to avoid civilian damage. No military establishment or civilian area was targeted, and there has been no collateral damage. Here’s a detailed look at each of the nine terror camps that were hit. Photos of each location will be added for better understanding.
1. Sawai Nala Camp – Muzaffarabad (POK)

This camp was one of Lashkar-e-Taiba’s key training centres. It played a major role in preparing terrorists who later attacked Indian civilians and security forces in tourist areas like Gulmarg, Sonmarg, and Pahalgam. It was completely destroyed in the precision strike.
2. Syedna Belal Camp – Muzaffarabad (POK)

This camp was used by Jaish-e-Mohammad for giving training in weapons, explosives, and jungle survival techniques. It acted as a launch pad for terrorists who crossed the LoC to attack Indian forces. The camp was flattened in the aerial strike.
3. Gulpur Camp – Kotli (POK)

This was a major Lashkar-e-Taiba base used to plan and carry out attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajauri-Poonch region. The terrorists who attacked a bus of Hindu pilgrims last year were trained here. It is also believed that Mumbai attacks mastermind Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi visited this camp. The camp has now been destroyed.
4. Abbas Camp – Kotli (POK)

Known as the suicide bomber training hub, this camp had the capacity to train up to 50 terrorists at a time. It was an important centre for Lashkar’s fidayeen (suicide) operations. The strike successfully neutralized this facility.
5. Barnala Camp – Bhimber (POK)

This camp was used to train fresh terror recruits in weapons handling, use of explosives, and survival in jungle warfare. It was part of the broader network used by Pakistan-based terror groups to infiltrate India. This camp too was completely destroyed.
6. Sarjal Camp – Sialkot (Pakistan)

Terrorists trained here were responsible for killing four policemen in Jammu and Kashmir in March. This camp was a critical point for launching attacks across the international border. It was struck with precision and has been eliminated.
7. Mehmoona Joya Camp – Near Sialkot (Pakistan)
Location: About 12 km from the International Border
This camp was used by Hizbul Mujahideen to spread terror in the Kathua and Jammu regions. It also played a key role in the 2016 Pathankot airbase attack. The camp was completely taken down in the strike.
8. Markaz Taiba – Muridke (Pakistan)

This was the headquarters of Lashkar-e-Taiba. Terrorist Ajmal Kasab, who was caught alive during the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, had received training here. Even David Headley, who helped plan the Mumbai attacks, reportedly trained here. The strike targeted specific buildings within this complex.
9. Markaz Subhanallah – Bhawalpur (Pakistan)
Location: About 100 km from the Border
This was the main headquarters of Jaish-e-Mohammad. It was used for recruitment, indoctrination, and advanced terror training. Masood Azhar, the chief of Jaish, was known to visit this place frequently. The facility was destroyed without harming any civilian structure.
High-Precision Operation
The Indian armed forces used advanced technology and precision-guided weapons to hit specific buildings inside each terror camp. According to officials like Colonel Sofiya Qureshi, Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, and Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, no civilian or military installations were targeted, and every strike was planned carefully to ensure no collateral damage.
This operation sends a strong message against terrorism and shows India’s capability to strike deep into enemy territory when necessary.
