KEY POINTS
- Left-liberals first demanded revenge for the Pahalgam attack, then shifted to peace appeals when India responded.
- The same people who cried for de-escalation are now questioning the ceasefire.
- Their inconsistent stand weakens national unity and benefits India’s enemies.
The recent Pahalgam massacre, where 26 innocent Indians lost their lives to a brutal terrorist attack on April 22, exposed not only the barbarism of Pakistan-backed terrorism but also the unprincipled, agenda-driven behavior of India’s so-called liberals and Modi-haters. These are not individuals driven by patriotism or compassion. No, they are political opportunists whose only real agenda is to undermine the government—even if it means speaking the language of India’s enemies.
Step 1: Pretend to Demand Justice
Soon after the terror attack in Pahalgam, this cabal took to social media and news channels, howling for revenge, taunting the central government, and demanding that Modi act. They didn’t care about national security—they were baiting the government to react so they could launch their next move.
Step 2: Cry for Peace When India Hits Back
When India responded with resolve and power through Operation Sindoor, demolishing nine terrorist basecamps in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and deep within Pakistan, the same gang suddenly underwent a miraculous transformation—from war hawks to peace messiahs. As Pakistan retaliated by attacking nine Indian locations and a full-scale war erupted, their crocodile tears started flowing in public view.
Step 3: Now Cry About the Ceasefire
And now comes the most ridiculous, ironic, and shameful phase of their drama. After crying “De-escalate, stop the war!”, these very people are now questioning the ceasefire, asking “Why has Modi stopped? Where is the revenge?”
Their statements are not just contradictory—they are dangerous, especially during wartime.
Here’s how this circus played out—statement by statement, lie by lie:
Starting from Arfa Khanum Sherwani, who is the senior editor of the controversial media outlet ‘The Wire’, posted on her X account: “Peace is patriotism. War is destruction. Borders don’t bleed, people do. Stop the war. Deescalate NOW !!!” The question is, where was this saintly plea when 26 Indians were butchered in cold blood? This selective pacifism only kicks in when India hits back. Arfa’s moral compass only points toward ‘peace’ when it’s India retaliating, not when Indians are being slaughtered.
Arfa Khanum Sherwani (@khanumarfa) April 24, 2025

Bhojpuri folk singer Neha Singh Rathore posted, “When will the country’s revenge be fulfilled, Modiji? The nation is demanding the severed heads of the terrorists.”
Later, while crying in a post, she wrote, “Dead bodies are falling in India and Pakistan, weapons are being sold by the Europeans — Tell me, who is really winning the war?”
This is not artistic commentary. It’s blatant opportunism disguised in rhyme. First, she incites anger and demands war. Then, when India acts, she plays the anti-war poetess. This is not conscience—it’s convenience.
…तो क्या अब मान लिया जाए कि पाकिस्तान इस बार भी बच गया?
देश का बदला कब पूरा होगा मोदीजी?

Earlier, filmmaker Avinash Das posted, “This is a battle every Kashmiri must fight.” Then he posted, “No one wins in war!” First, he deflects blame onto security forces. Then, when the army responded, he delivered philosophical one-liners. It’s easy to criticize from an air-conditioned room while soldiers bleed on the frontlines.

A notorious X handle named ‘The Cancer Doctor’ first celebrated ‘Operation Sindoor.’ Later, the handle posted, “Majority of those cheering for war have never watched a life slip away.” This anonymous handle wanted applause for sounding “balanced.” In reality, it’s just another confused commentator trying to stay relevant on both sides of the debate. First celebration, then classic hypocrisy.

Filmmaker Vinod Kapri first called for action post-Pahalgam attack. Later, the same guy cried, asking, “Say no to war.” The speed at which he flipped his stance shows that his concern was never about the nation. It was about what trend would get him retweets. Zero consistency, zero integrity.

Political commentator Shyam Meera Singh downplayed Pakistan’s drone strikes and mocked Indian retaliation. He mocked India’s right to defend itself and expected applause for advocating “peace.” This kind of propaganda does nothing but embolden enemies who know India is divided within.

Raju Parulekar wrote, “Those who have no stake in war are the ones who want war.” A shallow, self-righteous take. Try telling this to the families of those killed in Pahalgam. Or to the soldiers who are laying down their lives for our borders. Everyone has a stake in national security.

Popular propagandist Saba Naqvi tweeted, “War is a disaster… Pray for those under blackout…” Notice the timing—she posted this when Pakistan escalated attacks. Her real fear is not for India’s citizens, but for how strongly India will respond. Her “prayers” are just pleas for India to not hit back.
War is a disaster for all concerned. The people who are afraid, the soldiers who lose their lives, the economy that suffers terribly. Wars are not fought on social media or TV studios. Jai Hind. Prayers for all the places under blackout today.

Karthik Krishnaswamy tweeted, “Stop this idiocy.” Equating India defending itself with idiocy is the height of moral corruption. People like him want to shut down military response while terrorists roam free.

The pattern is clear, they demanded revenge, not because they cared, but to corner the Modi government. They cried for de-escalation when India acted with strength. They now question the ceasefire, despite being the first to demand it.
This isn’t just hypocrisy. It’s a planned narrative, carefully calibrated to exploit every step of India’s national security response for political point-scoring. These self-styled liberals and “secular” influencers are not peace advocates. They are saboteurs of national unity. They cannot digest the fact that a strong government is defending India, so they shift positions like weathervanes to suit their ideological hatred for Modi. In doing so, they do not just insult the armed forces—they embolden the enemy across the border.
