The Indian cricket team is all set for their tour to South Africa. The team, including players like Ruturaj Gaikwad, Shreyas Iyer, and Yashasvi Jaiswal, along with head coach Rahul Dravid and others, left Bengaluru for the tour. The tour starts on December 10 with a three-match T20I series and then moves on to the ODI leg from December 17 to December 21.

For the white-ball series, key players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah will be absent. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the T20I team, and KL Rahul will captain the ODI team. Youngsters like Rinku Singh, Tilak Varma, Sai Sudarshan, and Rajat Patidar have also been included in the ODI squad. The senior players will return for the two-match Test series starting from December 26.

Cricket South Africa (CSA) has announced its squads for the series. Fast bowler Nandre Burger, batters David Bedingham, and Tristan Stubbs have received their first call-ups to South Africa’s Test squad. Aiden Markram will lead the T20I and ODI squads, while Temba Bavuma will captain the Test squad.

The Indian Test squad includes players like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, and Jasprit Bumrah. For the T20Is, players like Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, and Suryakumar Yadav are part of the squad. The ODI squad features Ruturaj Gaikwad, KL Rahul, and Shreyas Iyer. South Africa’s squads include both experienced and new players across formats.

The series is highly anticipated, especially the Test matches, as India aims to secure its first Test series win in South Africa. It’s a crucial tour for both teams, and fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing some exciting cricket action.
