830 years after more than 90 lakh books were burnt down in the library of Nalanda University by Islamists, the largest public library in the French city of Marseille has been set on fire. The perpetrators understand that knowledge is everything, but the victims have still not figured it out. France is burning… for the last four days. Trains and buses have been burned, public and private vehicles have been torched, Stores are being looted. More than 800 rioters have been arrested and more than 500 policemen have been injured so far. The entire African and Muslim community has come out to create ruckus on the streets of France. They are calling it protests against racism. But it seems like a small constituent of France’s population, were just looking for an excuse to show their unity. The 9%, mostly immigrant community has wreaked havoc on the majority predominant French and the former Generals of the French Army have warned of a deadly civil war in the coming days.

A 17 year old boy was driving a car in the wrong lane, with a Polish number plate. The police tried to stop him, but the boy didn’t stop and instead tried to speed up. The police shot at his vehicle to stop it, but instead the bullet hit the boy. The accused policeman did not know who he had shot and what the consequences of his act would be.

According to some sources, victim Nahel M, an immigrant of Algerian-Moroccan descent was a repeated offender, and had been subject to five police checks since 2021, as the French call it, refusals to cooperate. As recently as last week, he had been placed in detention for one such refusal and was scheduled to appear before a juvenile court.

After the fatal incident, the boy’s mother alleged that the cop saw an Arab and took it as an opportunity to shoot him. Even though the French President Emmanuel Macron has assured of action against the accused policeman, the riots which began in the aftermath, do not seem to die down anytime soon. From the suburbs of Paris, the riots reached Marseille, where the largest public library of the city was burned down[b], media reports also suggest that protestors have robbed a weapons warehouse in the city. Rioters seem to be unleashed in Bordeaux as well, assaulting the common man and damaging property. 500 Buildings have been damaged, around 2000 Vehicles burnt, 3,880 Fire incidents have been reported so far. Stores of luxury brands in the heart of Paris have been looted.

First they made their homeland hell, then they fled to distant lands to take refuge, and when countries like France who succumb to the pressure created by the European Union, and accept millions of these refugees with open arms, are stabbed in the back. The police have been unable to contain the large-scale, seemingly planned riots, the French media has been unable to keep track of the rising number of cases of violence across cities. Attacks, riots, murders, rapes, and loots have become the new normal in a country struggling with mass legal or even illegal immigration.

Similar scenes occurred in France last year during the FIFA world cup, when France defeated Morocco. Moroccan fans took to the streets and began rioting against the French team and authorities- they vandalised numerous properties, burned down everything that came across. FIFA matches which are known for passion and enthusiasm among fans aggravated into an issue of communal violence, owing to, but just one community, and people of one religion.

Back in hometurf, Liberals, intellectuals, braggarts, who would blame the right  for provoking riots in India seem quite unpleasantly silent on the utter chaos going on in France. They have no one to blame. Protests and riots have also become a common sight in countries with an Islamic population, especially in those with illegally residing populations. One of the most beautiful and sought after cities in the world, Paris has been reduced to one ugly riot-hit region, just like the countries these refugees have migrated from. And it doesn’t take a genius to identify the ones who are responsible for the havoc caused.
