Kajol Marks 1-Year Milestone of 'Salaam Venky': A Heartfelt Journey

Celebrating the one-year anniversary of the family-friendly film ‘Salaam Venky’, actor Kajol expressed her gratitude for the enriching experience. She shared pictures on Instagram featuring herself and Revathy, the film’s director, marking the special occasion. Kajol reflected on the journey, appreciating the highs, lows, and the valuable lessons learned during the making of the film.

‘Salaam Venky’, directed by Revathy, tells an incredible story of a mother’s unwavering support for her son, helping him overcome challenges and embrace life fully. Kajol, along with Vishal Jethwa, Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Prakash Raj, and Ahana Kumra, played pivotal roles in the film. Aamir Khan also made a cameo appearance, marking his third collaboration with Kajol.

Aamir Khan and Kajol had previously worked together in ‘Fanaa’ (2006) and ‘Ishq’ (1997). ‘Salaam Venky’ is a heartwarming celebration of life, presenting a touching narrative of resilience and love.

Presented by Connekkt Media and produced by Suuraj Sinngh, Shraddha Agrawal, and Varsha Kukreja under BLIVE Productions and RTAKE Studios, the film hit theaters on December 9, 2022.

Looking ahead, Kajol is set to share the screen with Kriti Sanon in ‘Do Patti’. The film, directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi, is produced by Kathha Pictures and co-produced by Kriti Sanon. It promises to take viewers on a thrilling suspense-filled journey in the mesmerizing hills of North India. Kajol expressed excitement about working with Netflix once again after ‘Tribhanga’ and ‘Lust Stories 2’, highlighting the opportunity to explore unique stories and captivate audiences globally. ‘Do Patti’ is expected to offer a compelling blend of adventure and mystery. Filming began in Mumbai on August 18.
