A fire happened at Indus Hospital in Visakhapatnam on the second floor. Luckily, all patients were safely evacuated, and fire trucks were already on the scene.
The fire might have started in the operation theatre, according to the initial investigation. The Commissioner of Police, Ravi Shankar Ayyanar, mentioned that the incident occurred around noon when there were 50-70 patients in the hospital. Thankfully, everyone was evacuated without any casualties.
The police commissioner assured that they would conduct a thorough investigation to understand the cause of the fire. As of now, there are no further details available.
