He paid heartfelt tributes to those who served Bharat during that time, emphasizing their valour and dedication. PM Modi praised their sacrifices, stating that the nation takes immense pride in their unwavering spirit. The Indian Army, in its post on ‘X’, marked December 16 as the Historic Victory of Indian Armed Forces over Pakistan in the 1971 war and called for saluting the courage displayed by the armed forces.
