In Uttarakhand, the Chief Minister, Pushkar Singh Dhami, recently shared some exciting news. The government is working on a project called Aroma Valleys, aimed at helping farmers and reducing conflicts between humans and wildlife. This project involves developing six areas in the state where farmers will grow aromatic and medicinal plants. This initiative is expected to benefit over 37,000 farmers and create more than 70,000 job opportunities.
CM Dhami also attended an event on World Minorities’ Rights Day at the Himalayan Cultural Centre in Dehradun. During the event, he released a booklet from the Minority Commission. The Chief Minister emphasized the importance of remembering our fundamental duties to protect and promote India’s unity and integrity. He highlighted the strength of our cultural diversity, which contributes to the unity of the country.
Speaking on the global impact of Bharat culture under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, CM Dhami mentioned the mantra of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, and Sabka Prayas.” This reflects efforts to empower every section of society in the new India. The Chief Minister acknowledged various schemes by the Central and State Governments, such as Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, Ujjwala Yojana, and others, addressing public issues effectively.
Additionally, CM Dhami shared that there are plans to implement a Uniform Civil Code in Uttarakhand soon. He urged everyone to cooperate to make Uttarakhand a leading state in various fields by 2025. Overall, the government is actively working on initiatives for the welfare of farmers, promoting cultural diversity, and addressing societal issues.
