TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee whose derogatory mimicking of Vice President Jgdeep Dhankar stirred a debacle, has stooped to a new low. Kalyan Banerjee once again mocked and imitated Dhankar at an event in West Bengal’s Shrirampur. Banerjee believes that mocking the Vice President of Bharat is a trivial issue which should not be fret over.
Previously, Banerjee was seen mimicking Vice President and Rajya Sabha Chairman on the Parliament premises. VC Jagdeep Dhankar has issued a statement saying that he will not tolerate any insult to the Parliament and the post of the vice president.
When interrogated for the same he tried to shift focus on Sakshee Malikkh’s retirement and Bajrang Punia’s returning of the Padma Shri. He also took the opportunity to raise the issue of Parliament security breach.
After the mimicry incident a complaint was registered against Banerjee at a New Delhi Police Station. South Delhi’s Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) informed that the complaint was forwarded by an advocate named Abhishek Gautam at the city’s Defence Colony Police station.
