In a tragic incident in Delhi’s Janakpuri area, two individuals, Parvesh Kumar (25) and Arman Khan (23), have been arrested for their alleged involvement in beating a man to death. The victim, identified as Saurav Upadhyay, also known as Rishi, lost his life in this unfortunate incident.
The police received information about the incident when a medico-legal case (MLC) was registered regarding the arrival of a deceased male at Janakpuri police station on Monday. Gaurav Upadhyay, the brother of the deceased, filed a complaint at the Janakpuri police station, accusing unknown individuals of beating his brother to death.
In response, the police registered a case under sections 302/34 of the Indian Penal Code at PS Janakpuri and initiated an investigation. Deputy Commissioner of Police West Vichitra Veer provided details about the case, highlighting the seriousness of the charges.
During the course of the investigation, it was uncovered that a quarrel had taken place between Saurav Upadhyay and the accused individuals a few days prior to the incident. The present tragedy was identified as a repercussion of the earlier altercation, according to the police.
DCP Veer mentioned that the investigation is ongoing, and efforts are being made to apprehend additional individuals believed to be involved in the incident. The situation is complex, and the police are diligently working to gather more information to ensure a thorough understanding of the events leading to the tragic demise of Saurav Upadhyay.
