1. On January 6, 1989, Satwant Singh and Kehar Singh, the assassins of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, were hanged in Tihar Jail. On October 31, 1984, Indira Gandhi was shot by security guards Satwant Singh and Beant Singh in New Delhi. Indira Gandhi was declared dead at 2 pm, 4 hours after being shot. Beant Singh was killed by the security personnel present there while Satwant Singh was arrested. Kehar Singh was also involved in this entire conspiracy. 6. Louis Braille died in France on January 6, 1852. Louis Braille, despite being blind, invented the Braille script for the blind. When Louis was 16 years old, he met Captain Charles of the French Army. He told Louis about night writing and sonography. With its help soldiers used to study in the dark. This script was embossed on paper and was based on 12 points. It was from here that Louis got the idea of Braille script. Louis improved the same script and changed it from 12 points to 6 points.
