In a momentous event, the Chief Priest of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra, Acharya Satyendra Das, declared that the Pran Pratishtha ceremony held on Monday at the Ram Temple marks the beginning of Ram Rajya, a state of harmony, where all inequalities will come to an end. Expressing optimism, Acharya Satyendra Das mentioned that this transformative change will not only impact Ayodhya but the entire country, fostering unity and goodwill among its people.
The Pran Pratishtha, or consecration ceremony, of Shri Ram Lalla took place on Paush Shukla Kurma Dwadashi, Vikram Samvat 2080, with the auspicious timing starting around 12.30 pm and concluding at 1 pm. The ceremony was attended by dignitaries, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor Anandiben Patel, and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The day began with a morning puja, followed by the Pran Pratishtha in ‘Mrigashira Nakshatra.’
To mark this historic occasion, army helicopters showered flowers on Ayodhya, while 30 artists played various Indian musical instruments during the Aarti at the temple premises. Attendees were given bells to ring during the Aarti, symbolizing collective participation in the celebration. The musicians, playing in unison, added a cultural dimension to the ceremony.
Representatives from diverse spiritual and religious sects, including tribal communities, witnessed the Prana Pratistha ceremony. Prime Minister Modi addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance of the event. The ceremony adhered to Shastriya protocols, with 121 Acharyas conducting rituals, overseen by Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid and principal Acharya Lakshmikant Dixit of Kashi.
Notably, the presence of representatives from tribal traditions, including those from hills, forests, coastal belts, and islands, marked a historic inclusion. Various spiritual traditions like Shaiva, Vaishnav, Sikh, Jain, Ramakrishna Mission, and others were represented, promoting unity among diverse beliefs. The ceremony aimed to bring together people from over 150 traditions, fostering a sense of harmony.
The grand Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir, constructed in the traditional Nagara style, spans 380 feet in length, 250 feet in width, and reaches a height of 161 feet. Supported by 392 pillars and adorned with intricately sculpted depictions of Hindu deities, the temple features a main sanctum with the idol of Shri Ramlalla. The Mandir, with five halls, showcases historical and cultural richness, including a restored ancient Mandir of Bhagwan Shiv at Kuber Tila.
In summary, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Mandir not only marks a significant religious milestone but also signifies a broader message of unity, inclusivity, and the beginning of Ram Rajya, as declared by Chief Priest Acharya Satyendra Das.
