Prime Minister Narendra Modi also took to social media to extend his greetings on the special occasion. Posting on X, he shared, “Best wishes on the special occasion of the 75th Republic Day. Jai Hind!” The Prime Minister’s message resonated with the spirit of patriotism that fills the nation on this significant day.
In Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath marked the occasion by unfurling the national flag. Extending his wishes to the people of the state, CM Yogi emphasized the importance of building a capable and self-reliant India. In a post on X, he conveyed, “Hearty congratulations and best wishes to the people of the state on the 75th Republic Day! This national festival not only remembers our immortal fighters but also provides us an opportunity to commit ourselves to the realization of the concept of ‘Ek Bharat-Shrestha Bharat.'”
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also joined in the celebrations, extending his greetings to all citizens on Republic Day. In a statement, he underscored the historical significance of the day and the collective effort required to transform ‘swarajya’ into ‘surajya.’ Gadkari emphasized the country’s journey towards becoming Aatmanirbhar Bharat under the leadership of PM Modi, with the goal of positioning Bharat as the third economic power in the world and aspiring to be a ‘Vishwa Guru.’
