In a momentous occasion scheduled for 19th February in Maharashtra’s Satara, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to be honored with the esteemed Shiv Samman Award by the Royal Family of Lord Shiva. This auspicious day coincides with the birth anniversary of the revered Maratha warrior, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
Chhatrapati Udayanraje Bhosale, the 13th descendant of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and a current BJP Rajya Sabha MP, proudly announced the conferment of the Shiv Samman Award to Prime Minister Modi. The award ceremony is slated to take place at the grand Sainik School Ground in Satara.
As part of the preparations, Bhonsle, along with district authorities and the police, conducted an inspection of the event venue to ensure the smooth execution of the ceremony. The award holds immense significance among devotees of Shivaji Maharaj and is considered a mark of honor and respect.
Expressing his joy and pride, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis extended his heartfelt congratulations to Prime Minister Modi. Fadnavis emphasized the significance of the Shiv Samman Award, stating that it is a moment of happiness and pride for all Shiva devotees.
“The ‘Shiv Samman Award,’ given by the royal family in the name of India’s illustrious and ideal Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, has been announced to be given to Prime Minister Narendra Modi this time,” Fadnavis remarked in a social media post. He further highlighted the cultural and historical importance of the award, echoing the sentiments of happiness and pride among Shiva devotees.
