Violence erupted in Haldwani, Uttarakhand hours after ‘illegal’ encroachment madrasa was brought down. The Muslim mob attacked police authorities and set the vehicles on fire.
An Islamist, Shadab Chauhan has posted ‘provocative’ tweets on X to encourage his co-religionist against the Common Civil Code and this occurred just two days before the outbreak of Islamist violence in Haldwani, Uttarakhand.
He tweeted on X, “ Open your ears and listen, CM Pushkar Dhami. No one has the guts to stop the Muslims in Bharat from following the diktat of Allah and the ways of Prophet Muhammad”
“You are committing a big mistake if you consider us as weak. You do not have any idea of our power and might. We are ready for all forms of constitutional struggle”.
Notably, Shadab Chauhan is a spokesperson of the Uttar Pradesh-based Peace Party of India. (PPI). On the Taliban entering Kabul, he tweeted. “On the auspicious occasion our #IndependenceDay we got information that #Talibans entered in #Kabul peacefully. We congratulate them and hope they will run govt as per Ahkam e Ilahi Nizam e Mustafa.”
Shadab Chauhan in January 2022 threatened Journalist Aman Chopra as he pointed out the hooliganism of the Samajwadi Party and its allies even when they aren’t in power.
Shadab Chauhan tweeted on X, “All will be treated, no virus will be spared, Insha Allah”.
Meanwhile, In Haldwani when Police took action on an illegal encroachment on government land, stones were pelted at the policemen and Haldwani Municipal Corporation workers. Journalists and authorities were cornered in the police station by a Muslim mob and vehicles were set on fire outside the Banbhulpura police station.
More than 100 policemen were injured and four people died in the incident. The district administration suspended internet services and gave orders to close all the schools and colleges. A high alert has been put in the state.
