Section 144 Imposed in Delhi as Security Beefed Up on Border Ahead of Protest | Internet Blackout
Security beefed up on Delhi-Haryana borders as protestors are set to enter new Delhi. The Delhi Police personnel have blocked the city's borders with Haryana and Punjab using massive containers, while cranes have also been deployed to prevent protestors from crossing the Delhi border during their “Dilli Chalo” protests. Cement barriers have been brought to ensure that the protestors do not enter Delhi. Additionally, the internet has been suspended and Haryana has enforced prohibitory orders under Section 144 of the CrPC in 15 out of the total 22 districts in the state.
