Bharat-Taiwan Ink MoU on Migration and Mobility Amid Taipie’s Labour Shortage | Might Irk China
In a major development that could potentially irk China, Taiwan and Bharat concluded a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Friday to facilitate employment of Indian workers in Taiwan, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Both sides were engaged in discussions over the pact for the last several years. According to the terms in the MoU, the Taiwanese side would decide upon the industry or the sector where the workers would be employed, while Bharat would recruit and train workers according to Taipie’s needs.
