Renowned British action star Scott Adkins has officially joined the cast of “Kickboxer: Armageddon,” marking the final chapter in the remake trilogy of the beloved 1980s action franchise. As reported by the Hollywood Reporter, Adkins, celebrated among action aficionados for his extensive career primarily in straight-to-video productions, has recently garnered increased mainstream attention with notable roles in major blockbusters such as “The Bourne Ultimatum,” Marvel’s “Doctor Strange,” and his memorable portrayal as the formidable German mob boss Killa in “John Wick 4.”
In “Kickboxer: Armageddon,” Adkins is set to portray the character Cesare, a martial arts master overseeing a ruthless cult led by descendants of the Burmese Royal Elite Guard (REG). Cesare’s teaching methodology is characterized by a harsh approach, emphasizing learning through pain.
